Finally deciding to get another adventure checked off her mental list, Lilly had left camp earlier that morning to hopefully find the Pirate Captain, Hook. She knew that he had been enslaved not too long ago, but not a lot else about the situation. So of course she was oblivious to the fact that he no longer had his ship, The Jolly Roger, or his crew. She had also hoped for some memories to resurface, Damien had suggested that doing different things could jog the mind block she was suffering from; being around a ship might help with that. But, unlucky for her, Pan had taken full advantage of Hook being Enslaved and removed the ship, the crew and Hook’s dignity from his possession, so she was going to have to forget that idea. The sun had just finished rising, so Lilly increased her walking speed, she wanted to get there before anyone else woke up - maybe she would have a few minutes to admire the vessel.
She was a little taken aback when she didn’t find the pirate on his ship, but rather away from it. Lilly ducked under a branch to enter the same area that she spotted him in. There was a delicious moment where Lilly’s face washed blank with confusion, like her brain cogs couldn’t turn fast enough to take in the information from her wide eyes. Every muscle of her body just froze before a grin crept onto her face at finding the Captain. She was, however, still extremely worried about why he wasn’t on the Jolly Roger, it was his pride and joy after all.
Trying to ignore the bubbling questions, Lilly chose one to ask the pirate. “Why are you here?” As far as she knew, Hook hardly ever set foot onto the island itself, hating the demon that resided there had pushed him away, she guessed. Regardless of anything else, her top priority was that he would answer some of her questions - she desperately needed them answered; sooner or later she thought she might explode if she didn’t know something. But there was only one question surfacing to the top of her mind at that moment, why was he not on the ship?
