I agree with everything except that the actress looks like she could be Violet and Henry’s daughter. Two white people don’t make a latina child, ever. So if she is Henry’s daughter I suspect Violet won’t be her mom
Agreed. My Captain Swan shipping heart wanted to believe that, Emma Swan knowing what it’s like to be an orphan, has the greatest wish to adopt a child. Because she knows what it’s like to feel unwanted and unloved, and I bet you anything REGARDLESS of if it ends up canon or not, MY Emma Swan would want to help a child like herself. To give a child a home, a mother and father, a love they could never forget. I know it’s like, real wishful thinking lol but regardless of who the little girl is playing, I can totally see Emma and Killian adopting. <3
literally all of her scenes in ‘save henry’ bless that episode and whoever wrote it, and bless lana + babies, and regina fully, willingly choosing to become a baby owner, and learning how to own a baby. playing with baby nugget henry’s feet. learning that babies spit up. the absolute stress that came upon her at the thought that her new baby preferred snow white’s presence over hers. literally begging henry to let her prove she’s so much better than that ho mary margaret. and being completely incapable of letting him go ever. i want to thank this episode for my life thanks episode
that one scene after cora dies, where regina’s looking through her stuff and finds that locket of her and cora. shook. i’ve got no other words. just shook.
when marian returns, and she’s telling off emma, wow way to end me. why am i weak for people who are pretty criers first of all? it’s super troubling bc it means i gain some sort of odd satisfaction out of seeing my favs in pain, and i don’t like it. but the actual pain you can see in regina’s eyes even though she’s trying so hard to cover it with anger. lana pls i can’t handle it.
when she’s locked up awaiting execution and henry sr. comes to visit her. and she’s fucking shaking as she looks out the window. and henry sr.’s apologizing for not turning her away from the darkness, and she tells him he’s the thing she loves most. the fact that this exact moment and those exact words had probably immediately come to mind later on when rumple’s taunting her about whose heart she has to sacrifice for the curse and why rocinante’s didn’t work. i could keep going, but i’d veer off from the actual scene into other scenes so
when robin visits her in her office to talk about marian, and how guarded she is when he first shows up, because she’s sure he has to hate her bc of marian. but then he’s telling her the exact opposite, and she’s so fucking relieved, and hearing that every part of their relationship was real and she lights up. but then he’s telling her they can’t be together, and she actually killed me dead with that look of rejection, wtf

People seem to forget that just because she hasn't been fridged doesn't mean she can't fall into racist writing/tropes, which is by no means being treated "better". How about the fact that this is a show that revolves around fairytale romances and she - like so many other woc - is the only character being denied romantic love? Or that she's constantly made to suffer in a show about "hope"?
when you’ve got only one main poc, and your main reason for keeping her relevant is that your audience loves her, and your idea of relevant means making her suffer, that is pure racism and i don’t want to hear shit about “well at least she’s still around, unlike other the other pocs, must be cause she’s also white”
@hookedswans replied to your post “what is your favorite thing about snow queen?”
i mean the missing year held what was probably one of the most significant moments of their relationship (the heart-splitting), so you're not wrong! I wish we could have seen it more but honestly that scene was everything.
the heart-splitting was everything, it held so much about them as characters -- snow talking nonsense, regina internally screaming WTF SNOW THAT MAKES ZERO SENSE??? YOU THINK YOU CAN PHYSICALLY LIVE WITH ONLY HALF A HEART??? WHY ARE YOU DUMB I DID NOT RAISE U LIKE THIS -- and it held so much about the point they’d reached in their relationship -- regina trying to kindly tell snow that she was insane, snow’s blind trust not only in giving regina her heart, but in believing regina would figure out how to make her nonsense work out, and regina’s ultimate trust in snow’s nonsense and her faith. i could keep babbling, but my point is it was a beautiful moment
i feel the same way about romitri that you do about sydrian.....i miss my babies ;( also i figured that'd be your answer to that question, but you know i love you anyway <3
i miss romitri too, what a ship <3 i’m just more at peace with them bc they ended pretty well, and then also they might pop out a kid in their future??
(and if it counts at all, i do still kind of ship cs in fic)

no it's cool! i actually like having critical conversations about things i used to enjoy, there's a lot i would overlook in the past that i realize now is kinda bullshit. my love for bloodlines was never on the level of VA anyways. if this were about VA we'd be having a different conversation lol
lmao i mean i have Opinions on VA too, but not on the level of bloodlines. and i can still reread VA too, as opposed to bloodlines :/

or nina? like there were so many options there and the early-20's newlyweds of different species were just like "we'll keep him". suuuuper believable lol i'm still salty she had neil abandon him though. i understand that the plot was needed to show that restored dhamir's were no longer infertile, but they didn't have to make neil look like a d-bag. and my favorite parts were (predictably) any time Rose was there xD
NINA ABSOLUTELY. and she’s another reason i was irritated with adrian btw. but she loved olive so much, like was she even considered a potential guardian for that baby?? cause i don’t remember that!
@hookedswans replied to your post “@hookedswans replied to your post “@hookedswans replied to your post...”
out of curiosity, how would you have liked sydrian's story wrapped up?
i can’t even really say what i actually wanted, and that sounds bad, but i can really only give you a rant about what i absolutely didn’t want (and i’ll put it under a cut for both mild trigger warnings and just in case you’re not interested in a rant)
first and foremost, adrian’s completely ooc backstory of being an accomplice to a human girl’s essential rape by that moroi guy? and then that not even getting any resolution, and actually being used as plot device for sydrian to sleep together? that was really upsetting to me, and such a huge letdown for me on adrian after having fallen in love with him during the first three books of bloodlines.
aside from that, i also found re-education to be a bit... underwhelming? like richelle just hyped it up to be this place of horrors -- and don’t get me wrong, it was awful, but idk, maybe it was just that it didn’t exactly leave the impression on sydney that i thought it would? i just wasn’t impressed with her writing on re-education. it was more torture than manipulation i guess is where i’m going with this, and i would expect a bigger emphasis on manipulation considering the program itself is called re-education. but i digress.
i didn’t care for the eloping. at that point i guess i wasn’t that invested in them anymore, but although i suppose there was reason behind her marrying him for moroi security, i feel like richelle wrote it more to hype up the fangirls for their ship, and it just read like fanfiction to me (not in a good way).
then olivia’s (was that her name?) death being used as a plot device for sydrian to become parents? like, what was that? i have so many more thoughts on that particular part, but i’ll just leave it here.
