Bummed I’m missing this !!!! Real speed! Real racers! Real history! The third annual #spiritofsturgis is coming up quickly. It is going to be the best one yet. Monday August sixth will be packed with vintage flat track racing, with classes that represent over 6 decades of historic racing classes. This is the first year that a hooligan class is incorporated into the schedule, it will be open to all bikes that want to give it a whirl. Everything from Harley wrs, panheads l, Indians, scouts and xr750s will have a chance at one of the largest #hooliganracing purses of all time. That right, there is 2500 in cash prizes up for hooligan racers.The night will finish with a run what you brung dirt drags on the front straight away of the track. Tuesday August 7th will be a fund raiser day for the grounds and event therewill be paced laps around the historic track where the rally was started, kickstart lessons, old bike riding lessons and old time field games for anyone who wants to participate. It is going to be a wonderful time celebrating motorcycles, racing and friendships that the rally was formed around close to 80 years ago.
