Hoop araucaria in Auckland domain, New Zealand. Very full and bushy one. Initially didn’t recognize it as this species I’m used to more sparse foliage grouped at the end of branches, i think this more bushy look is the juvenile form. i have heard they also hybridize with norfolk at this stage i'm yet to see evidence, very cool tree! this area is turning into a cool row of araucriaceae with two new species to the park also planted in proximity.
