Amazing track by Swedish singer/rapper Fricky (Broder John & Friman, Hoopdiggas, Random Bastards). Taking a lot of inspiration from the Toronto Soundscape, he puts words to the feeling of moving into the unknown of a new relationship. He also discusses people look up to him like a father because of his music, but still feeling like a kid. “They bite my lines and study my bars” // “De bajtar mina rader och studerar mina bars” The production is, to put it simply: amazing. Synth reminds me so much of the DX7, and together with the perfectly panorated drums it just creates 3 minutes and 46 seconds of utter beauty.
