Who loves floor hooping??? I know I do, so here's an easy, pretty, way to get from standing, to the floor while hooping.
Step 1: get into lasso (if you don't know what lasso is, you can youtube it, but basically it's the hoop spinning in your hand above your head, like a lasso).
Step 2: If your hoop is spinning to the left, cross your ankles with your right foot in front. If your hoop spins to the right, cross your ankles with your left foot in front.
Step 3: Keeping your feet in the same spots (don't take any steps, this is basically a pivot), turn and bend at the knees towards the direction that your hoop is spinning. You want to turn 360 degrees, and when you get completely turned around, your legs should have become uncrossed, and you should be on the ground, with the hoop still in lasso. :)
