So, I just found out I have my first appointment with Sheffield GIC on Monday, what kind of things are discussed the the frost appointment? I'm so excited but also kinda nervous about it.

Normally first appointments are very general - establishing why you’re there, what you’re hoping for from transition in general and the clinic in particular, your history of feelings about your gender, other medical and family history. There will also be questions about your current living arrangements, and whether you’re in education or employment of some kind, for instance.

I hope this helps! Honestly these things are very daunting and can feel like ‘tests’, but they’re not there to deliberately hold you back or anything like that.

I guess I could say I collect books about Lewis Carroll and illustrated versions of the Alice books, but I am not a very serious collector compared to some other Carrollians. I have only 40 books or so. There are oh so much more!

Since I am very afraid of death, I would say immortality or invincibility. But right now, what would be really cool is the ability to control time.

One place that makes me happy: Unconsciousness. I think. My imagination, but I suppose if you're wanting a physical place, then home, usually. I like knowing what i can and cannot do. I like knowing what to expect. Home is a place I can let my guard down. Outside is tense and uncertain and too many variables. If I'm out, especially on my own, more often than not I am all too aware of everything. Can't relax. So, home. 

How many blankets I sleep under: If I fall asleep on the sofa, one. If I fall asleep in bed, my duvet. Odd question...
