No, Cersei is a great, complex character who does bad things but so do the majority of other, more beloved, characters. it's bullshit

I knew I couldn't be alone. Like the entire show is based on people doing bad things, so if that's the only reason you dislike, you have some serious issues to work out

Well thanks, since I don't have time on my hands to read more books, especially books for myself, I'll stick with the tv show.

Well I like to see what I've read and I'm not going to apologize for finding the cutting of an important POV character stupid.

That's so true. Like the only thing worth mentioning about the Dornish is their sexuality. Like the Greyjoys aren't worth mentioning at all.

Do you have any background in teaching or any plans to teach in the future?

I come from a family of teachers, so I knew I would eventually teach in some capacity. I ran a student-run class (called a DeCal) while I was an undergraduate at UC Berkeley, and then as a graduate student I served as a TA for seven or so courses. When I left graduate school, I went directly to Fullerton College, a community college in Orange County, where I was an adjunct professor of English for four semesters. I mainly taught English 100: freshman composition. It was both one of the best and worst experiences of my life. I loved the students and loved being in the classroom, but everything else was a slog, and the work I made for myself (grading over a hundred multipage papers a week) eventually did me in.

That said, teaching—and education, in general—is something I’m very passionate about, and I imagine I’ll be returning to it in one form or another at some point in time in my life.
