Y’know, I had to think about what I wanted to make you for A WHILE. I was like... It has to be something representative of our bond... and friendship.... and everything we’ve been through. It can’t be anything ordinary... No, it has to be a show of our love.... And so, here it is. A collage circa 2011. I put my blood sweat and tears into this. Unfortunately I couldn’t fit all of your children on here, but oh well.
On a serious note, I just wanted to wish you a really splendid birthday, Mace. Despite your shoddy ( but endearing ) grammar and your weird ( but endearing ) collection of cacti, you’re such an incredible person. I’d say I wonder how yo could even be friends with a shit-show like me but –– a ) hah like attracts like #burn, and b) you have such an infinite capacity for forgiveness and kindness and caring, that it’s not that big of a mystery. Not to mention, you have such a big heart.
You’ve been there for me a lot, even when I’ve messed up. You teach and inspire me to be a better writer, friend, and just all around person. What more can I ask for? Also, you changed your icon to my shitty drawing so really what the fuck more can I ask for? You’re a wonderful person and I love you so so so much. Thank you for existing.
