Please help Elver find forever home so that she can have the life she deserves. Elver (A43787494) Female, 6 years old, 50 lbs-- Elver (Elvie) is a loyal and obedient 6 year old pittie mix/mama cow. She’s super sweet and loves everyone she meets, including older children. She knows many commands and is easily trained. Elver is eager to please and is down for anything her human wants to do. She enjoys laying around, taking walks, going for runs, and playing tug of war or hide and go seek. She doesn’t bark much, chew at all, or beg. She’s very polite and is a great work from home pal. Elver needs to be an only pet but she will quickly become your best friend. She would do great in a home with a backyard as she has some leash aggression and she needs a patient owner to help her learn to ignore other dogs. She was muzzle trained within a week but has been doing so well on walks, she doesn’t always wear it! She also has some initial separation anxiety that a new adopter will need to help her get through. But she is worth it and with work, she will be the perfect dog. @acctphilly 111 W. THIS IS PANCAKE. HE IS SCHEDULED TO DIE MAY 26th. He was found emaciated (1st video) shuffled from one foster to another. Look at his videos. He CANNOT SLIP THROUGH THE CRACKS!! Please share as much as you can. We have 72 hours to save his life. He needs to be the only dog in a home with a closed in the yard . Originally he was not a #Hopecampaign dog for @standupforpitsfoundation but Let’s officially make him one now. PANCAKE AI # 66431 American Pit Bull/Mix, Male, 8 yrs, 36.70 lbs for Tues. May 26, due to a bite history and kennel stress. The rescue that can confirm for Pancake will be provided a $300 incentive towards training. His penpal only spent about 4 hours total with him, but her experience with him has been pleasant. He came in as a malnourished stray, so he is a bit grabby with treats. Pancake's an alert pup, keeps a watch on the world, nothing seems to escape his gaze, interested in everything, he even managed to be mesmerized by trash blowing around in the street. He was leash biting when overaroused on a walk with first foster (who lived in a densely-dog-populated south Philly area) and when going for the leash grabbed the fosters jacket. After being with first foster for several weeks, she felt he would benefit from a yard in a quiet neighborhood. She described his as perfect in her home and affectionate, playful, and cuddly. He went to a new foster in the suburbs May 7th (transported by a volunteer - so good in my car and was great with new foster family during introduction. Foster dad took him for a long walk early next morning. Pancake pooped and he told him to sit while he picked it up. Pancake didn’t sit, so Foster dad pushed his backside down to gesture sit posture. Pancake is sensitive about his backside (noted when he arrived to shelter and told to foster). Pancake turned and nipped foster.
