hopp cafe, sunway.
sort of new cafe at nadayu 28 that my friends and i visited recently for lunch. the cafe is easily spotted from the road as the signboard is huge. the interior feels spacious and has lots of natural light too, it’s a very comfy place to chill and chat with friends.
i ordered the blackened seabass paella and a pot of jasmine tea. and had the ginger and lime creme brulee for dessert with friends. we also received a free chocolate lava cake since one of my friend’s birthday just passed. totally awesome. the food is okay, but nothing fantastic, the paella is very filling because there’s a lot of rice, the fish fillet is kinda small though and too little vegetables.
the service here is rather slow even though the cafe is relatively quiet, we noticed there is only one or two servers and they are not really attentive to customers most of the time. it’s a nice cafe with potential, but definitely need improvements.
