Since I scored that spare H89/Z-89 Terminal Logic Board, I realized that without a case, power supply, monitor, or keyboard, it isn’t much good. A power supply can be modified from something else in existence, and a keyboard interface can be fabricated to allow a modern keyboard input. But the monitor is where things get tricky, and beyond my capabilities.
So I’m lifting an idea I saw for a Commodore PET composite video output mod, that would in theory, allow me to use any video output device. So far, I’m getting signal of some kind, but I can tell that the horizontal and vertical sync pulses need some serious work before the text is stable. No amount of adjusting the monitor itself will fix the kinds of problems present here.
