The small knight was currently guarding his sibling. He had only left recently to Molt again.. he was beginning to take on his eldest siblings looks slightly and was a inch taller now but oh he was not happy. Any male that got too close got chased off by the knight. Heavens knows what he was going to do to the father of hornet child when he caught him.

Hornet had grown pretty dramatically a month or two ago and was roughly hollow's height. "You're always so determined to protect me, but you never do rest yourself. It's important self care." Hornet right now was round to say the least. She had a grub, an egg that would hatch in a few days to a week, and she was carrying another egg. Three. Did that lightning character mess with Hornet three times?!

Well, Hornet knew that was a no. "He's quite nice, I assure you, Ghost. Attacking him is unnecessary."

A young, a VERY young bug was crawling around Deepnest. Slowly the baby one realized they were lost and got scared. She began to cry loudly. It had a black body and a shell with little nubs around it. (Baby Hornet AU) (@the-radiant-vessel)

A weaver approached the vessel, intending on eating the weak, little, screaming thing. Just when it was about to strike, Hornet leapt onto it and started to ‘play’ with the weaver. Her playing was more fighting. The weaver, knowing it couldn’t fight this child or it’d face Herrah, dropped Hornet and scampered off, leaving Hornet sad.

Herrah came to all the noise, assuming the crying was Hornet. When she came to the scene, she saw Hornet with another child and picked them both up, setting Hornet up on her head where she knew Hornet would hold on as she examined the vessel for any injuries.

It had been over a week since the...outburst Sweets and Hornet had. It had also been about a week since Sweets had become a mother. She was unsure if Quirrel had told the spider about his future kin and everytime she brought it up, Quirrel would dodged the question. So, one day, she packed up her egg, a basket of goodies and headed into Dirtmouth to talk to Hornet. One last time.

Quirrel's home was mostly webbed over. That hasn't changed. The bench is there, Elderbug isn't, Shops are open. Hornet's home is lit inside for the dark morning, but She's asleep up in her hammock, though it was mostly too small for her so an arm and a leg dropped down. Maybe this wasn't a hood idea?

Sweets wanted to make amends with Hornet. She felt partly responsible for the little spider's outburst the day before. Sweets was taking another parental figure from her after all... So, the moth packed up a snack in a basket and headed for Quirrel's home in Dirtmouth. Sweets knew that Hornet would stay there from time to time. Hopefully she was there now.

Hornet was there. She was sorting and packing things Quirrel didn’t plan on taking. Certain things were webbed off already, like some bookshelves were put up and webbed off. She’s... She’s quite tall. Bigger than Quirrel.

Blossom's missing. The bee was gone from her home and a note was left at Hornet's empty old house. And why? A small squad of two hive knights and four soldiers. They were walking around the kingdom, and they seemed to be searching for something. The events had to be connected.

Going up to get some things, Hornet found the note. Unfortunately for the bees or knights, Hornet was high on mom brain and went out searching every last place and interrogating them. A long, sharp needle would sway them, surely.

ghost hummed happily as he sat cooking over the fire today while waiting for his sister to return. He was making stirfry with the vegetables he traded many little fishes for. fishing had been very very good and he even smoked the many fish he got the keep which were hanging up in little lined up rows up from a beam above them. He hoped Hornet had a big appetite!

Hornet returned home just as the meal was finished cooking. She caught a wiff of what was being cooked before the pleasant aroma in the house overtook her. It was a wonderful thing to be greeted by, especially when you're hungry. "You have a wonderful sense for cooking, you know that?" She sat by him before actually hugging him. Not often did she show physical affection unless she was close with someone and it was usually in private. One of the few times she had so far.

She must be warming up finally.

Today was a really really REALLY cold day.. most bugs would be inside warm and cozy but the Little vessel knight was not. He wrapped his cloak tighter around him shivering as he was in search of his friend Quirrell. He wanted to bring the other bug home so he could be warm and happy.

No where in dirtmouth would he be found besides the Grimm tents. Items in his home were webbed off and cocooned in silk. Hornet knew it was cold put and stayed in-doors. Working on her cloak.

Both siblings were tired. They'd been all over Deepnest after following eyewitness accounts and stray silk, all to try and find their half-sister. But at last, after who knows how many Dirtcarver ambushes, they'd found her. Babble chittered as loud as they dared in calling Hornet. They were here!

Her home was in the distant village now, above Herrah’s den. They happened to come in when she was sleeping up high in a webbed hammock that was attached to three walls. Support and stability for the little egg.
