You hear piano. At first you didn't notice it, but now you do. At first you didn't know the melody, but now you do. Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. Funny, you didn't notice a piano when you first came in. Then again, you could have forgotten. How long has it been? You start to walk. The piano gets louder. And faster. You start to walk faster. The piano follows. Louder and faster. Walk faster. Louder and faster. Walk faster. Soon you are running. The sound is chasing you soon you can't hear the sound of your own panicked breathing. You don't even know if you are still breathing. Where are you? How long have you been here? You can't think of anything besides the piano. You didn't think it was possible for a sound to be this loud. You scream. Or, at least, you think you do. You can't hear anything but the piano. You cover your ears and try to scream. You scream at whoever is listening to make it stop. And it does. Silence. So quiet you can hear your own blood flowing through your veins. Silence. On and on. You cry in relief. Then, soft... slow... piano.
