“No- maybe. It’s hard to tell.”

Cole glances up at Wanda for a moment before looking down, his fingers curled around the warm cup of hot chocolate she had given him.

“I like this, it’s nice, warm- like you.”

If he leans into her a little, neither of them say anything. It was both difficult and easy to be near her. All her emotions, memories, her powers…they overwhelmed him but at the same time she knew how he felt and that comforted him.
