Horse Studios have considered a very unique and innovative approach to food packaging for Makers and Merchants. The typographical approach offers something very personal and well thought out. The Red Onion salsa packaging is what I picked up on. Horse Studios have thought about what a red onion looks like both inside and outer packaging. An onion has many layers and when you slice the sides off, you can see these layers very clearly, as it is a red onion salsa, they have used the colour red. Onions offer a bit of spice and eye watering struggle when peeling apart the layers and this is shown within the illusion the O's offer.
I really like this product packaging and I feel that the distinct packaging and typographical approach will help the products be remembered as well as the company.
