It was nice getting that inheritance, wasn’t it? Alas, time has come to pay taxes on it. Turns out you owed $4,000.
Ending Balance: $258,562
Today I completed all the quests I could without leaving Angleton. I increased my balance by almost 10x, which I thought was pretty cool.
My favorite quest today was the vocabulary challenge in the Angleton library with ProfReasoner. I love words and, though I had to look a good number of the words up, I got quite a few right all on my own!
My last Angleton-only quest was Supplies For DrLongAcre.
As you can see here, I took my newfound wealth to the clothes shop and barber. This is the way I always used to dress my character, and it was so nice to see that similar clothing options are still around from when I used to play. One of the things I really appreciate about Horse Isle 2 is the amount of detail and thought that is put into every aspect of the game. There are tons of options when customizing your character, which is accurately reflective on the potential variety of players!
I’m a bit sad to be leaving Angleton so soon, but am also very excited to see what other islands have to offer! I remember catching wild horses was my favorite part of the game when I played before, so maybe I’ll get lucky and see a few more!
