Love and Lies

Kiibo’s self-destruction had been quick and painless. Of course that much was to be expected, as a robot he couldn’t feel pain after all. Still, it was only after giving the last survivors, his friends, a last smile that his “heart” had stopped hurting and he had taken the Killing Game with him to his grave.
Or at least, that’s what he had thought. The world he knew had been swallowed up in his explosion, casting everything in a white light so bright that allowing his consciousness to slip away from him felt like coming home. Just as he had thought that the person he had been before could maybe find peace with this kind of ending... he opened his eyes to a new world.
“...............” This wasn’t right. He had found himself back in a room that look similarly to his, but a quick glance through a window told him he wasn’t in the Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles. A knock on his door caught his attention and before he knew it he was reading the contents of the letter the sheep in front of his door had delivered.
Having read the letter left him none the wiser, so with some hesitation in his steps he left his room. He had barely made it out of his room when he looked down and saw a familiair person lying face down in a pool of his own blood.
“AH!”
