Latula’s rad gamer girl persona is noted multiple times to be an act, possibly overcompensating for her loss of smell making her cullable? Karkat thinks she’s doing it for attention and she drops the act around Porrim and straight up tells her it’s exhausting.

Horrus, obvs, doesn’t know who the hell he is, his thing is that he’s a void of a person trying to define himself by anything he can get his hands on. He mimics Equius, blatantly follows any advice Meulin gives him even when it’s obviously bad, clings to Rufioh so hard that Rufioh literally doesn’t know how to break up with him, and also is a horse. He wasn’t anything so what if he was a horse, horses are cool, I love him btw.

They both struggle to be authentic- Latula because of shame and Horrus because he doesn’t know what that would even be for him- and I think having them be moirails while struggling towards self actualization would be a helluva dynamic which ☝️! Isn’t typically what’s meant by shipping but it’s still a romance and I think itd be an interesting and dare I say healthy one
