I just realized kafka's scar on his chest is on the same spot where ancestor hoshina was stabbed and killed by the meireki daikaiju. Just thinking.

I'll likely make more bc hskf would definitely not stop at js 3 kids, but that means im gonna have to rack my brain for more character ideas and I don't have the brain capacity for that rn

Self-Indulgent MinaKaf, Hoshikaf, Narukaf Highschool Dating Simulator AU Rambling

ok rlly self indulgent brain dump idea of a crack kaiju no 8 au where its js the kaiju no 8 cast but as a shojo style high school dating sim but its done like one of those "i got transmigrated into dating sim as a side character!!" type beat stuff--- but it has a MinaKaf, HoshiKaf, and NaruKaf twist

Theres the player/MC plus the love interests which are Mina, Hoshina, and Narumi:

Mina: student council president,  the serious "kuudere" archetype--- cold exterior but soft on the inside

Hoshina: vice president of student council next to Mina, upbeat teasing archetype

Narumi: lazy genius stereotype, could easily surpass all the classes if he wanted to but sleeps and plays video games all class, often in detention-- "tsundere" archetype

Their routes would involve the MC joining the student council to work under Mina, with Hoshina, and taking care of students/delinquents like Narumi. idk the big bad bullies could be kaiju no 9 and his goons lol

Other characters would probably be featured as supporting characters like reno, kikoru, iharu, minase, rin, etc as the MC's and/or the love interest's friends for plot--- maybe isao, hikari, hasegawa etc, could be the staff (isao is principal lol)

But like the whole "transmigrated" thing is for Kafka--- whose character in the GAME acts like one of those supporting introduction characters that give u the exposition of the school hierarchy and tips to romance Mina, Hoshina, and/or Narumi. He's got connections to the main cast being the childhood best friend of Mina and working under the student council as well, so he probably became friends with MC at the start of the game and offered a spot in the student council--- which leads to the romance routes.

(In game Kafka is like one of those characters that u can buy gifts from for the love interests--- "collect 25 points to buy *insert gift* specific for *insert love interest* to increase their affection meter!!" type stuff)

However when irl Kafka (lets pretend hes a teen here and mina, hoshina, and narumi doesnt exist irl) gets put into in-game Kafka's world he doesnt necesarily mind it--- he expects for things to go along in game (as many transmigrated characters unfortunately do) where the MC goes to him for help and gives them advice, hoping that after the game ends he'll get back to the real world. He's played the game routes all before getting put in game so he knows what the MC has to do complete the game.

However the plot is derailed when he realizes Mina is starting to get more clingy and wanting to go on more cat cafe dates with him instead of being her usual standoff-ish self, Hoshina is increasing his teasing and attention to Kafka to a concerning amount--- Kafka swears he can feel the Vice-President staring him down during meetings, and Narumi is starting to hover around him during detentions (where Kafka is responsible for him to stay put) and forcing him to play video games with him in exchange for Narumi to behave better. (MC could also have a Y/N effect where its js a self insert of us lwk ignoring Mina, Hoshina, and Narumi as the love interests and wanting Kafka instead, but who knows shrugs)

Insert Kafka wondering if this is some kind of DLC special that he doesnt know abt and convincing himself that the love interests arent into him bc thats not part of plot--- plus the indulgent beach and field trip episodes. the possibilities are endless.

This is such a stupid thought i had while looking at Extraordinary You edits and I had to let it out, do with it what you will--- if i still keep thinking abt it i might make some art bc kaiju no 8 high school aus are lwk haunting me rn.
