A finished commission for the father of one of my best friends. The figure featured is based of off a picture of her taken by another very talented friend. She is a very gifted dancer and her father requested that this be incorporated into the piece :) The constellations featured are from the southern hemisphere, with the Southern Cross (featured on the flag of our country) lies directly between her outstretched hands, as a symbol of home within the cosmic journey.
