@itsdeadlights "No, I didn't look. Even if I'd been curious, I was too much of a coward. Especially after the way Bevvy described it in the town home." She had watched them all die. Over and over again. Gruesome, graphic ways. She must have been strong, because that would have been enough to drive Eddie to suicide. Maybe that was why Stanley had. Stan, after all, had seen the deadlights too, albeit briefly. And so had - "Richie." He was stating, more to himself than the monster before him. "He would have seen your true self. Shit. No wonder he has so many nightmares." Eddie felt a wave of guilt. After all, he was in this room because of Richie, or at least, because of his feelings for Richie that he was struggling to feel reciprocated. But he wasn't being empathetic at all to the thought that maybe Richie was just pulling away because of everything. He had been direct witness to Eddie's death, his blood splattering all over the comedian. Maybe he was scared to lose him again.... He trailed off in his thoughts for a bit, though he was trying to listen as well. Call it the drugs sending him into a loopy spiral, but he was able to only grasp certain words now and then, raising an eyebrow. "The Beast? That seems almost too simple." He wasn't trying to make fun, but it reminded him of almost every movie ever. He supposed calling the creature IT wasn't any better, but at least there was a little more creativity than a commonly used name. "At least you didn't say it was Lucifer or Satan. I'd have no problems believing that you're the Devil incarnate, honestly."
