what the fuck is a hot brown
a hot brown is a dish originating in Louisville, Kentucky. it's served as an open-faced sandwich consisting of turkey breast, bacon, and a mornay sauce (a béchamel sauce with cheese) . it can also be served with tomatoes, mushrooms, and very rarely, canned peaches.

I've mentioned before that Hina really loves trying new foods, and while she's in Cantessy you can bet she's going to try the local delicacies! Here she's trying out a hot brown, a kind of open-faced sandwich that irl was invented by the Brown Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky. The pics make it look pretty tasty, and honestly I kinda wanna try one myself at some point. Buuuut seeing as how I don't really have any reason to take the hours-long trip to Louisville any time soon (sadly not even for the zoo :c ), I would have to settle for making my own at home with one of those home recipes I've found XD
