GLOW: Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling Last night I met the talent behind the documentary GLOW: Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, Director Brett Whitcomb and Writer Bradford Thomason. I also met Godiva, former wrestling star of the famous 80s television show GLOW and I challenged her to a match. So if you want to see a great film and the added bonus of an international programmer take on a wrestling champion come to tonight’s screening 11:30 at the Bloor!

Be there - or you'll be at a disadvantage for the rest of the Fest... ...and learned that Aruna Papp, Toronto activist in the South Asian community featured in /Crimes without Honour/, will join director Raymonde Provencher at the screenings today and tomorrow, promising a powerful Q&A post-screening. Follow the Yellow Rick Road
It was great to meet some of the Rick Springfield fans who have come to the festival to see the film Affair of the Heart. They've done an amazing job of creating a "Yellow Rick Road" outside the Bloor. All signs lead to Rick!

Un-official Hot Docs parties just announced
Two fantastic un-official parties have just been announced. They are not to be missed so get your tickets quickly.
The Shut Up and Play the Hits party is happening at The Hoxton on May 4th with James Murphy DJ-ing (!). Tickets for the party are available here. If you haven't bought your tickets for the film yet you can do so here.
The Wildness party is on May 3rd at the Ossington, and guest DJs are coming into town specially for this event. It's $3 on the door, or free with a ticket from the film, which you can buy here.
