Christmas starter for hot-space-lady

Shopping for River was a difficult feat.  He had tried to get some ideas from Amy, but she didn’t have much to offer.  The Doctor eventually came to a few ideas after a few days of thinking.

First, he knew she enjoyed archaeology, so he got her some history museum tickets and also an ancient artifact that he had managed to find on one of his other adventures.  He knew she liked handcuffs, so he got her a pair of TARDIS blue handcuffs.  Speaking of his TARDIS, he realized she didn’t have a key, so he also put a key to the TARDIS in the box as well.  Lastly, he got her a snow globe and a Santa Clause hat, since that was the season after all.

He arranged with Amy and Rory to have a Christmas dinner and made sure they knew he was bringing River along before he headed off to her place, his gifts all wrapped in one box.  He knocked on her door and held the box out for her.  “Merry Christmas,” he grinned, handing her the box, “I told your parents we’d open gifts before heading over.  They are expecting us for Christmas dinner.”
