As I get ready to fast, let's #FlashbackFriday to lots of food from Wednesday, day 3 & final day of the #hotdishLA food tour! L to R, huevos to start the day! Octopus huevos rancheros & chorizo/mushroom tacos, the truck & jamon torta from @guerrillatacos, then a tour of several Latin American markets for interesting produce (here it's Chayote) & tostilocos snack followed by a salsa demo from Chef Cetina @gcetina80 at #ChichenItza & some of their delicious food like pescado playa lancheros aka grilled fish-beach style before heading off to @bizarracapital for their green mole fries & duck carnitas taco! @streetgourmetla knows best!

After digesting day 2, here's yesterday's highlights. #HotDishLA #FoodTour LtoR, water boiled fish at #ChengduTaste, giant #SoupDumpling at #WangXingJi, #StinkyTofu at #BeBeFusion, the Boot Knocker (R) & Shorty (L) pots at @eatatpot, & the original #burger at #ShanxiGourmet. The stinky tofu wasn't a tasty highlight so much as it just had to be mentioned. Also wanna mention the great #DimSum at #Lunasia, just didn't have any great pics. Highlights from yesterday. Day 1 of a 3 day food tour. #HotDishLA L to R, #mariscosjalisco #aquachiles, "heaven" fish (as we named it because it was that good) at #coniseafood, then 2 dishes from #Paiche, toro sashimi ceviche w/ truffle & grilled miso Paiche lettuce cups.
