After Seek's demands to get Dupe under control, Curious Light decide to place him in the most strictest place anyone could land a job on, The Library.
Cause 1, the library has the simplest of rules and tasks, so no one can even try and mess up and 2, Figure has OCD, every book, every paper and every object has its place. The book about bugs? Into the Living Creatures section, near the Fishes and Mammalians, can't be too far from it's original place, Figure stated or grumbled. Dupe was given the simplest of jobs within the library, signing and stamping borrowed and returning books from guests, simple enough right? Not for Dupe, having dyslexia, the words sort of mix up and misread to him, he's better off telling people to quiet whenever someone enters but nooo, he has to read stuff about if the book is due til next week or not. Figure is able to handle the entire library by itself even. Dupe making one too many mistakes, accidentally letting the overdue books borrowed longer, fees miscounted and books unsorted in the wrong pile. Surprisingly Dupe was the one who wanted to quit and not get fired, knowing Figure can't even word out that he's bad at the job, even if he moves to another position, they don't wanna enrage 8ft tall blind monster that wants nothing but doing it's favorite job.
