Another routine patrol was bound to land on Sealions lap shortly after returning from a joint special operations conference. When has the admiral EVER let him have half a break? Apparently this was a pretty decent size convoy, consisting of three of the IJN’s first line battlewagons one heavy cruiser and 6 destroyers as escort. So why suddenly throw in an American into the mix? In his mind they were trying to get rid of him again so the brass could do whatever the hound dogs damn well pleased. Well he got an assignment and he will regardless do his best to keep the main body a good distance from any raiders.
