The amendment that explains why this is a bad idea is literally the first thing added to the Constitution after the preamble. Saying that laws can’t be based on religion was apparently one of the top priorities they had.

I wonder what it's like to have the kind of life where one can believe that the universe is perfect and that everything happens for a reason? I can't even imagine having a life where I could believe that things just smooth themselves out somehow.
I have a hard time believe it sometimes, too. But the hope that things will get better is the only thing keeping me going sometimes... A lot of times, I wish I could just -not- hope because it causes a lot of heartache. But I am dumb and can’t stop.

idk what it was. I don’t throw up often. I got up with a terrible headache and tried eating but after about an hour I was so nauseated that I knew I had to do it if I wanted to feel any better. I felt super weak after but once I had some saltines and bananas I felt a lot better. I was even able to go out to dinner with my family.
