For a tea rarely seen in the west, Hou Kui is a incredibly unique tea. Grown on one of the steepest slopes, each individual leaf is hand pressed to give it the famous long flat shape.

Shunan is in China! That's right, Shunan is away on tea related business in China till the 15th. The shop will still be open and in the very capable hands of her employees, but unfortunately this means no Tuesday Night Tea Offs. The Tea Offs will start again the first week of 2015, a great way to start the year. But there is good news, the new tea trip video is out! This week travel to Tai Ping for Hou Kui green tea in one of our most scenically beautiful videos yet. Once again even though there is no Shunan the tea house is still open, so we hope to see you soon.
