Above the line of green bamboo, the colourful clouds drifted across the red sky. Madara strolled home, patches of saltiness slowly drying from a sparring session with Hashirama.

He refused the invitation to have dinner with the Senju and chose to come back to his quiet home. For the house of a clan head, Madara's home was humble, unornamented and unmanned. He didn't have any children, and probably would never have one. Why would he need that much space to remind him of who he had lost?

"I'm home." Madara whispered to no one as he lined his sandals neatly by the step.

Haruno hums as she checks the windows and the stove for the last time, takes her bag and walks toward the door. She takes her shoes from a getabako and bends down to put them on, when a shuffling sound behind her made her stop and look. Its only her cat, Miichan.

Immediately, Haruno brightens and fawns over her cat.

"Aww, my little angel, Haruno will be gone for a day, alright~? I've already prepared your food for you~ Eat it all and I'll give you a gift later, okay~?"

Miichan meows and moves closer, so Haruno reaches out and starts to stroke his soft fur.

Suddenly, Haruno hears a voice:

As the voice starts to fade, Haruno whips her head around, trying to find the source of the mysterious voice. Finding nothing, she turns to Miichan.

Haruno had stopped stroking his fur, so Miichan tilts his head.

"It’s nothing. If only you could talk to me, Miichan," she sighs.

[ What is it, Haruno? ]

Haruno gasps. "Eh?"

The only one around her is her cat. Slowly, her eyes widened. It couldn't be possibly...?

‘Beep! Beep!’ Her phone sounded an alarm.

"Ah..."

The time for the Agency to open is drawing near. Haruno, with no time to waste, quickly bids farewell to her cat, and opens the door.
