*Someone walks through the streets in the city. Someone familiar. He looks like he's looking for somthing. People kind of walk around him, leaving a sort of bubble where he walks. It's not so clear at first why, but if HRG looks closer, he'll see the person has a cloak covering half of his body, and a giant scar covering nearly half his face on the other side.*

Hourglass was on patrol, it had been a quiet day today, which makes sense now that Spore is supposedly retired and midday. More so he was patrolling to reassure the public and help in small ways.

He rolls up his sleeves trying to cool off when he spots a teenager clearly searching for something

“Hey there, did you lose something?”

Hourglass walked down the street trying to look as inconspicuous as possible. He had to tell Hotguy thag he couldn’t find Jelli and update him on everything.

Herocles is on patrol so he doubts he will follow hum

*Herocles had reason to be suspicious, reason to be upset. Hourglass lied to him! Lied to him and tried to get him in trouble.*

*So, he follows Hourglass along the rooftops. He's still doing his job! He's still patrolling and looking out for threats, and, well, Hourglass happens to look like quite the threat right now.*

[A mass of spores and mushrooms and mycelium bloom from an alleyway behind a apartment building. Only one villian this could be, Mother Spore.]

[Its odd though, the bloom of spores and mycelium seem to form more of a wall than anything, and Spore is not around outside it...]

Hourglass hesitated as he sees the alley full of the mycelium spores. Messing with Spore’s mushrooms was very dangerous- you could get trapped or be forced into the hive-mind of the system.

However- Hourglass was never known to be particularly cautious, so despite the knowledge he pulled off his green glove and touched the spore, his eyes going lime green, as he traced back its past.

[Spore chuckles slightly, sitting down nearby once more.]

*Something drips. Like a leaky faucet, but different. Or perhaps blood. But nobody is around... right?*

Hourglass hums a bit confused and looks around him, maybe he’s just hearing things

[Spore is sitting atop a building, chirping out birdcalls with a small pile of shiney things in their lap. Mostly glass shards.]

Hourglass ran across the rooftops, keeping an eye on the floor below ready to pounce on any crime. He froze as he saw Spore. No hero had seen or heard from Mother Spore for weeks now. To be honest he was a bit apprehensive to approach, last he remembered, she had attempted to blind him.

Hourglass? Sweetheart? Are you doing okay? I haven't seen you in a while.
