The ability to move entire lots around inside The Sims 4 is coming in the future.
If you have ever downloaded a house from the Sims 4 Gallery and you found it didn’t fit onto your lot the way you would like, moving it was a complete mess. Now with this new update you can move the house and the surrounding garden around without worrying about messing up the design and layout of the lot.
Also if the lot is smaller than the gallery lot do not worry. Any content that does not fit on the lot will be deleted, but you can decide what part when placing the lot down.
