i am trying So Hard to give a little nymph i found some squash but he is NOT having it lmao. he keeps bouncing away and refuses to interact with it even when its right in front of him!!!

at one point i managed to trick him with the ol' "spricket circle" trick where i made him feel secure by making a lil "cave" for him with my hand so he thought he'd successfully eluded me, and for a moment it DID work...

...but my leg, which he was on, was stuck in a VERY uncomfortable position, and when i tried to carefully move it, he got spooked and hopped out, and he wasnt fooled by subsequent attempts...

now hes on my bed frozen in place with the squash right in front of him, and im just sitting here hoping he'll calm down and eat :,)

(oh shit he actually just groomed a little, so... Perhaps?)

Wembley also came in because hes a little duckling who follows me everywhere, and i had to quickly distract him so he wouldnt notice and disturb our guest.

hes happily purring and getting Rubbins, so he's happy at least.
