After giving the host her notorious scowl, Josie tried to push the thoughts of the familiarity of the blonde out of her head and concentrate on the "fun" to be had (according to Mandie). Sure she was excited to be out of that creepy ass house, to be out with friends and trying to have a good time. Mandie had started to prove that she was a trustworthy friend, listening to Josie when she started to open up about her past, still not giving too much information for the fear of it being used against her. She admired Anne, her ferocity in not being afraid to speak her mind and let the world know how she felt. There was a genuineness in that, Josie liked that. And Josh, he was sweet, Josie wasn't sure how he put up with Anne's craziness, But when they were together, it was obvious that they were the ying to each other's yang, polar opposites but so much the same. Then there was Matt, her stomach flipped again at the thought of him, excited and so opposed to the norm. Lanky body hidden under his baggy clothing, stepping past the hostess now and into the house. Jose hoped to be able to get a couple of quick drinks into her system to help her relax. She let her eyes roam over the vast and highly decorated room, settling her eyes settling on the toga dressed men across the way with trays full of promising liquid gold.
She curled her fingers into the back of Matt's flannel shirt, holding onto him as if he were the last thing on Earth, and standing up on her tiptoes to speak into his ear over the speakers, "Don't you dare leave me alone in this fucking place. Wanna get a drink?"
