Lumina had been without Ether for almost two weeks- her slowly changing body becoming desperate for the substance. Ever since Valkor had cursed her, as her body changed, the more she would come to rely on Ether. She could life without it, and the lack of Ether would never kill her because of her light, but she knew that she would be driven to madness if she starved her body of it.
The problem was, she had run away from the House of Bones. She had grown frightened as her entire right arm was now that of an Eliksni. Terrified of changing completely, she escaped the house and went searching for answers. Anything that could help her stop this- to fix it. She was hopeful that the Vanguard in the city could help, but without her ship, it would take another two weeks to make her way home.
And she was beginning to lose focus as she craved Ether. She knew she wouldn’t make it to City sane at this rate. Fortunately- or not, it would be determined soon- she stumbled across another House. She had never seen this one before, never heard of their colors either. She didn’t know if they were her enemy, or if they would be able to provide any help at all. After an hour of working up the courage, she finally approaches the house after a few patrols are set out, less enemies to run from if she had to.
She approached them slowly, making her presences known before she was spotted, arms up and trying to appear harmless.
“L-look I’m not armed- I swear. I just need some help.” She spoke in Eliksni, she didn’t know if they would trust her for speak it, but she had no way of knowing if they knew common language either.
“I was cursed by another Kell- one that uses magic. I just need some Ether, not a lot I promise, nothing but a bit from your stores.” She took a deep breath, approached the Kell. He was strange, large and terrifying. But so was Valkor when she first met him. Her Eliksni arm was out in the open, her arms and gloves no longer fitting over the exoskeleton.
“I can explain more, or be on my way as soon as possible. I just need help, please.” She looked at the Kell, watching his expression to know if she messed up or not.
