At the time, Dec 2014, this was my best effort! I wanted it back so I could have that reminder. One thing I've been playing on repeat had been Birdman or the Unintended Virtue of Ignorance. In it, you see a bunch of actors rehearsing for Broadway, at the top of their game, and the whole experience is riddled with anxiety and doubt. It shows how no matter how far up the mountain you go, you never really "arrive". I went to an artist meet up last week. I was so crushed my insecurity and social anxiety that I said nothing to anyone and left after an hour. I've spent the last 4 years hiding in this cocoon of making stuff. Now that I'm ready to leave and show people my stuff, I'm noticing that it's harder than I envisioned. I liked my cocoon, I could do whatever I want and no one would criticize it. But isn't that the way of life? You learn how to walk and pretty soon they throw you to the other kids and you learn to interact.
