Many years ago, I tried the Flylady system of cleaning and organizing my life. While I don’t do much of it any more, a few key things have stuck with me. One of those is having a clean sink. I hate dirty dishes in my sink and scrub it out fairly frequently. I find it oddly satisfying for some reason to look at my sink and see it empty and shiny. So, if your day is a hot mess, try cleaning the sink.
