Lost Air - Cloudmirror LP out now

I am excited to share that the latest release from the Framework label is out now!

"Cloudmirror" is the first release from Lost Air, a Massachusetts-based experimental sound project. Comprised of eight instrumental pieces, the album floats through a suite of somber, aural meditations that transfigure personal grief and disorientation into atmospheric, minimalist tone poems.

Blending textured field recordings, delicate acoustic orchestrations, and dark ambient soundscapes, the gauzy stretch of tracks lace to form an intricate, cohesive whole. The result is sonically hazy and ethereal, true to the solitary, conscious moments that inspired these sounds. In the deepest breaths of "Cloudmirror", chamber-like melodies collapse into windswept, decomposing noise, and a spectral sense of reflection presents itself.

FUNDRAISING SALE FOR STANDING ROCK SIOUX TRIBE

In light of recent events, I've decided to run a bit of a sale in an attempt to help raise funds for the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe as they continue to protest the Dakota Access Pipeline which threatens their water supply and sacred sites.

Now thru Inauguration Day (1/20/2017), 100% of all sales made through the Framework webstore will be donated to the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe. All in-print releases have been discounted in the webstore as well as on our Bandcamp page (where you can opt to pay more if you would like). These discounts will be in place until 1/20/2017.

In addition, the webstore has been updated to include my personal test presses of nearly all Framework releases. These all come with homemade packaging put together when I originally received the tests from the plant. These are my only copies of these tests. Prices reflect personal importance, scarcity, and the fact that all proceeds will be donated.

Don't need any records? Great. I encourage you all to do what you can to oppose the Dakota Access Pipeline, and support the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe as they continue to protect their land and their livelihood in this struggle that will likely extend through winter. Donate money, sign petitions, make phone calls. They need all the support they can get. Here is just one of many posts I've found online that lists multiple ways you can assist.
