Does anyone else think that the Woman was being paralleled with the woman John was cheating on? What with her being mentioned at the same time as John telling Sherlock/ Mary that he cheated, and it being “just texting”.

So Sherlock was “cheating” on John with the Woman, and John was cheating on Mary with the woman on the bus.

That scene said to me that we know the Woman is alive but Sherlock will never contact her outside texting. John can’t contact Mary outside his head. They both need a romantic relationship to be fulfilled. They both have told each other to go and be with someone else because that is what is necessary to make them happy.

Goddammit just look at each other and see!
