BEETS! I purchased these at first just liking the fact that they were beets and me being a sucker for food shakers; I had to have them. Well after some research I soon discovered they were made from a pretty famous shaker and other pottery maker named Howard Holt. So you learn something new every day and I like them even more now!

I still find it kind of funny that Howard Holt (a former Prime Minister of Australia) drowned at sea and one of his memorials is a swimming pool.
