Theories on Finale Episode
So here goes on my theory (ies) of what goes down on the finale:
(And in no particular order because I can’t guess the timeline of each of said events during the episode)
-Robert playing chess and remembers what his father told him. Willow meanwhile is doing her own soul searching, the music box next to her.
-Robert knows what’s up. He orders the SWAT team to corral the family, and somehow keeps them detained for a period of time. It may NOT have anything to do with Robert but someone else who orders it. Willow is not present but it seems to come right after she tells them all she will expose Robert at the altar.
-Eleanor is beside herself about her brother. Burns photos. Jasper is there to comfort her and keep her from doing anything crazy. There’s some kind of moment between them with a dance but I don’t know when this might occur, maybe the night before the wedding?
-Before the wedding Robert and Liam have a heart to heart. Robert challenges him on his loyalty which Liam gives. I don’t see this being a big thing.
-Kathryn has been sequestered all this time. She shares a moment with Liam where he talks about the plan going down. (I don’t see much use for her other then being there for Liam)
-Jasper tells everyone to be armed and prepared. Not because of the takeover but because it’s a high profile event and security. He will have a gun on him as well, to which the “inner circle” only know about
-The wedding is the very last part of the episode. Willow plans on blowing the whole thing up, but doesn’t. She actually says yes to Robert which shocks everyone.
-THEN someone we don’t expect comes out from nowhere, the plan foiled. But in the chaos of what is going on, there is yelling and possible exposure of Robert’s lies as a last ditch effort and then something happens, (a gunshot, a twist of some kind of succession possibly?) By the way, I’m going with Jasper’s dad coming back into the fray as the someone with Robert’s blessing.
-Willow and Robert are married. The coup d'etat failed but Robert will be faced with his next challenge by SOMEONE upping him out of nowhere. And the family more torn apart then ever.
-OR they could go with the gunshot thing and we don’t know who is shot or something. Things are in the balance.
-I can see Robert being two steps ahead of the family but two steps behind someone else. And that someone else will be the setup for next season as the fallout from all the family secrets.
