Apparently, even with a bunch of bodies combing the streets, the FBI was not that effective. Howl had remained nearby the black vans with a pocket book in hand waiting for the screaming and shooting to start in a nearby block,  but it was taking too long.  Don’t mind him, he had no particular interest in criminals ( or law whatsoever ) so when something made him turn his way towards an alleyway, Howl was intrigued. He saw a couple of shadows slithering away. He put his book away and followed in silence.
What would be his amusement when discovering these sneaking rats were two of the criminals the agents were chasing. He was about to leave it at that, turn away and get back to his own business, but then there was  something else.  A strange pull made him unable to turn around and instead, his eyes got caught on a silhouette.        BA-DUMP!
His heart skips a beat and he finds himself stuck to the asphalt--- literally stuck, his feet had started to sink into the floor as if fear kept him from approaching. A familiar shape glows in the darkness of the alley and... THEIR FACE.  He had dreamed about this person, he had drawn them plenty of times to the point of skinning entire notebooks with their eyes, the curves of their jaw and their starlight hair.   HE HAD TO DO SOMETHING.  The criminals would soon cross paths with the girl.
