Last month was monumental with back to back gigs from the two of the finest bands to ever grace this planet. With 20+ years of delivering stellar sonic compositions under their belts, The National and Phoenix delivered big on their live sets. With those punchy, energetic, nostalgic, and emotional “this song belongs on a soundtrack” type moments, longtime fans (like moi) were treated to arguably their best performances in Brisbane to date.
