Yennefer knew how that sounded, and held her face for a moment before she smiled and reached out to rest her hand on his cheek. “We’re a good team. You have my back, which is more than I can say for some...but don’t let that go to your head, yeah? It would be a shame to have to deflate your ego...” she explained as she gave his cheek a soft tap tap of her hands before pulling away.

Ciri knew that she was still young, but to her being in her teens was hardly a child anymore. She had gone through a lot and she knew that Geralt had never treated her like one. Sure, he was protective but she had shouted a little bit at him when he had tried treating her like a child. She did like Jaskier though and she enjoyed his company most of the time.

“I don’t know what nickname that you could give me. But, I’m not just a Princess. I want to be a Witcher now like Geralt.” She told him and huffed slightly. Her eyes glanced up towards Jaskier and she ran a hand through her hair.

“All of my other nicknames when I was still in Cintra were just things like The Lioncub and The Last Rose but, I don’t think that they’d work out here.” She told Jaskier. “Do you ever give Geralt a nickname?” She asked, curious because from what she had witnessed, the Witcher could be quite grumpy at times.

Certainly, had the witcher have the power, he would have turned the poor bard to stone by now. “I am very glad that my brother was happy to aid you with your songs, against his will probably, but-” He paused for a second, shaking his head. “I cannot do that. My stories are boring. Probably end up killing yourself out of boredom before you finish listening to one.”
