I'm right with you. I've been following her for a min and I never saw her post anything transphobic. The fact that rashida and her mutuals are attacking that girl is crazy

me too and i have no idea why they are bullying this woman. normally i wouldn’t even get in these “cyber beefs” but she has done nothing but be herself in this this situation, they have no reason to attack her. this woman, rashida, has yet to pull up any type of proof of her transphobia, even after several people have asked. you cant just accuse someone of being something so vile, not provide proof, and then go on like nothings wrong. i wouldn’t be surprised if she, rashida, has tried to slander other blogs as well…

1. trans girls are not obligated to educate cis girls on what constitutes transphobia (google is free) 2. i doubt you actually care enough to use google so here: it was pointed out that babyphatjeans was largely talking about problems that only affect cis girls or are not a priority for trans girls, not addressing the unique struggles trans girls face, making her blog + book exclusionary to the experiences of trans women. exclusive = transphobic

I’ve used google before im aware it’s free, thank you though! Her book is talking about her own personal life and struggles. A lot of women relate to dealing with shitty guys, a lot of women relate to having self esteem issues, a lot of women relate to wanting to do better and be better, cis or trans, women have dealt with these issues at some point in their own lives. if you are a trans woman are you not a woman? Last time i checked, you are indeed a woman. If someone hasn’t gone through the same unique struggles as someone else, does that mean that they hate that person? When black women talk about our own struggle of continued oppression, does that mean we hate white, latino, east and south asians? No, it doesn’t. It means that we don’t have the same shared experiences. If a cis woman is talking about her life and her own experiences that doesn’t make her transphobic, just like a black woman talking about her own life and experiences, doesn’t make her prejudice. Its her, cis or trans, talking about her life. I’m a cis woman and i will never understand the struggles of a trans woman, and i would never dare to act like i do, does that effectively make me and my blog transphobic? Because i haven’t gone through the same struggles? She never intended her book to be exclusionary, i believe you know that, her experiences aren’t my experiences i understand that. Her truth and my truth are two completely different truths. Does that mean she hates me? No. It doesn’t.

No. LOL. Actually im not. I have no problem explaining to someone how their own comments can be degrading or inappropriate, especially if said person was ignorant about these issues…thinking critically about this, and using the same logic used here, it would be reasonable to say that any cis woman talking about her own life, is excluding transwomen, and is therefore transphobic. Part of thinking critically is looking and reading, both sides of the issues, and me asking someone about there own sentiments and experiences about certain issues, is me making an attempt to learn more…about these issues.
