A lot has happened since my last post. A lot of journeys. A lot of destinations. A lot of epiphanies. A lot of affirmations. I landed in a cool spot in Memphis, TN.

How To Voodoo:

Fear.

What is fear? If not a physical being how does it wield the power to possess a person.

What factor does it play in voudou or hoodoo culture?

Fear casts barriers of protection around the culture that even the bravest man wouldn’t dare to penetrate.

Many descendants of slaves close their eyes to the sight of voodoo culture, close their ears to the wisdom and close their grasp to the thought of even touching artifacts related to the faith due to fear.

In hoodoo, evil is dealt by perception. If one is doing what is deemed evil many will fear them. If one is doing something unorthodox to social norms then they are also to be feared- it’s the lack of understanding. Judgment- it gravitates and sticks to you like glue. Let it.

Fear can be your power or it can be your burden. Many practitioners manifest many great things from fear. Someone’s fear can be enhanced or soothed.

You choose.

Fear can be a warning or come to you as a sign. It’s a natural gift... unfortunately some people don’t have the gift of fear or caution and can be completely oblivious to danger- Fears close friend...

How To Voodoo:

Happy Colors (Mood)

Ever heard of the term “Dopamine”? The neurotransmitters in your brain that gives you that rush or sensation of happiness and fulfillment when activated. Usually last for a few seconds.. could last a few hours.

It’s what drug addicts and alcoholics chase for that “high”. (Thought I’d start with this to catch your attention)

You feel it when you are overwhelmed with laughter, listening to a nostalgic song, see someone you love and most popularly- eating sweets etc.

False Origins.

Many people believe like dark magic witchcraft that Voodoo (Vodun) originates from praising a dark lord or any form related to fallen pagan god.

No text or history shows this to be true.

Voodoo originally was Vodun. Vodun praised the earth and maintained a relationship with ancestors on the invisible world. Clean and healthy habits.

Hollywood has twisted so much. Now it’s considered evil to many people and their religion.

How To Voodoo:

Spells: To Make Your Ex Want You Again..

So I’ve decided to do this segment based on a question I’ve received in my DMs back in March but of course technically right now I’m on a “temporary hiatus” so I got the message pretty late. As I digress, the question was from a young lady who wanted a spell to get her ex boyfriend back. The simple answer is- there is no spell. But I do have two of many spiritual solutions to this problem but they aren’t all healthy for you.

1st: Figure out why you broke up in the first place. Is that reason something you can fix? Is it worth fixing? If so, invite your ex out for a chat and hash things out. This piece of spiritual advice is called Closure.

2nd: Offer friendship. This could end in two ways. The ex could realize that the break up was a mistake or you will hurt constantly watching your ex fall in and out of love with other people. This piece of spiritual advice is called Patience & Space. Let me explain why. You need to be patient enough for your ex to make up their mind and give enough space for them to not feel like they’re still in a relationship with you. That will cause them to feel the same “entrapment” they’ve already felt and it will only push them away further. Lastly, you don’t want to be used for sexual favors while their heart isn’t in it- it happens. It seems fun because you feel close but reality will hit when they invite you on a double date.

There is a 3rd I would like to share when it comes to spells. You want a spell that takes away someone’s free will or distort their way of thinking and molding it into yours. That is considered dark magic and it crosses a tough line. You will be looking into drugs and spirits(alcohol) to get this persons guard down and making a move. But once these drugs and spirits wear off their original thoughts will come back. This is why many religious consider drug and alcohol a sin because it can seem to control man but only temporary.

All in all, like the photo I’ve included above, it is sometimes better to let go of something that is hurting you than to keep holding on.
