If Harry had even an ounce of common sense, his reaction to being made Champion in the Triwizard Tournament would have gone like this: Binding magical contract? I have to compete? Eh, okay cool, I’ll just roll up to each challenge and forfeit. Would that do? I’ll officially be competing, but I won’t actually make a difference in the tournament, allowing for a fair and equal competition between the three schools and also, unknowingly, saving Cedric’s life and stopping Voldemort from returning. Karkaroff and Maxime won’t have a reason to claim unfair advantage and i won’t have anxiety all through this year. Peace out ✌️

I’m trying to watch GOF (i haven’t watched a hp movie from start to finish since DH2 in 2011) AND IT’S JUST SO HARD. IT’S FREAKING TERRIBLE so harry says “caught on, have you? took you long enough” and ron answers “i wasn’t the only one who thought you’d done it” I’M SO MAD WHAT THE HELL THEY’RE RUINING RON AND THEY RUINING HERMIONE (she’s honestly pissing me off in the movie) and i don’t know if i can do this. suffer through 1½ hour more lmao my heart is beating really fast because i’m so annoyed and sad :-(
