Or did it not even have to touch their head?Having been sorted into Gryffindor, the first of his family, it wasn’t something he had expected. He had heard countless tales of recklessness, blind bravery, and mindless determination. As such, he had considered these students to be less than admirable. Now that he is sorted among them? He…..still has these thoughts and continues to wonder if he wasn’t better suited anywhere else. Seth had expected to be in Slytherin as he sees himself as ambitious and cunning but these are not his defining traits. There was a momentary delay when the sorting hat landed upon him. He even tried to argue with it but, in doing so, it saw something in him he has yet to recognize.12. Do they have any hobbies? What about any talents or aptitudes?Seth is quite the fan of duelists and practices this as often as he can. Other hobbies include whittling and studying Astronomy. He’s very capable with his hands and quite skilled with a knife although his creations could use some fine-tuning. As for Astronomy, he simply enjoys star-gazing and finds stars to be beautiful and complex. He has artistic aptitudes, believe it or not, causing him to be photogenic, fashion-forward, and musically included. He can play the violin ( although he doesn’t do this much as intense lessons and parental expectations removed the joy from it). 17. Do they like what they see in the mirror?Oh man, now we’re heading into the big questions. You would like to believe so, wouldn’t you? The way that Seth preens and fawns over himself, one would come to the assumption that he simply cannot stop adoring his reflection. This could not be further from the truth. Seth abhors his reflection. Within seconds he can map out every flaw and recognize each imperfection by touch alone. The constant preening? To assure himself that he is presenting the best version of himself. If he could do this without mirrors he would.What he sees in the mirror is a young teen struggling to understand the complexities around him. In his reflection, he sees past that well-placed smile to the shattered fragments. He smiles to himself because he refuses to let anyone see what a mess he truly is.26. What kind of a first impression do they tend to leave on others?Upon first meeting Seth, one could recognize the veil of charisma and the sort of almost diplomatic air he appears to wield. He is inviting, attentive, and yet, despite his efforts, condescending tones are notable for those that have played this game before. Seth is someone who may not be one you can identify right when he meets with you but there’s always this lingering sense of something being not quite right. He seemed so charming, attentive, and yet…was any of that attention truly on you?
