Sizeshifter! Cater x Reader

✦ Hii!!! First time posting a oneshot here on this silly site ^^ I'm just posting this here for the funsies since I initially made this for a bestie who loves Cater because she told me there isn't enough G/t Cater stuff. Got the idea of Cater being a sizeshifter from this post and I absolutely love it! :3 Anyways, this isn't my best written work ever, but I hope you all enjoy reading it somehow <3

You and Cater had been dating for a while now, with the two of you sharing each other's company more often than before. Secrets about each other were shared whenever you're in private, seeing a side of each other that nobody but you two are aware about.

But among the secrets Cater shared with you, this one was the most baffling one so far that it left you stunned the moment he revealed it.

It was a fine weekend when Cater messaged you to come to Heartslabyul because he wanted to show you something cool. Curious on what this “cool thing” he's referring to, you made your way to the hall of mirrors and went through the one that leads to Heartslabyul. Upon arriving, you notice a large figure hovering beyond the dorm from afar that had you confused until you've gone through the maze to see what it was. As it turns out, it wasn't a what but rather, a who—and that who was none other than your boyfriend Cater, waving at your tiny form as if this was a normal thing for him. You, on the other hand, just looked up at him with your eyes wide and mouth agape in shock.

Cater revealed to you that he apparently has the ability to shrink and grow his physical form, whenever and however he wants to, and that everyone in Heartslabyul are the only ones aware of this. The reason he shared about this now is because he waited for the perfect opportunity to show it to you and wanted to be sure that he's able to trust you enough that you wouldn't judge him about it. You were a bit baffled, sure, but this doesn't change the fact that he's still your loving social media addicted boyfriend. With your small hands holding onto his big thumb, you assure Cater that no matter how big or small he wants to be, you'd still love him because that's who he is. Cater lets out a soft chuckle before placing a gentle kiss on the top of your small head, thanking you for the assurance.

And so begins your adventures with your sizeshifting boyfriend.

Whenever he shrinks himself as small as a chestnut, he likes to rest on your palm or hang around your shoulder and sometimes have you take photos of him beside flora that towered him. You’d have to admit that seeing tiny Cater sitting on the center of a daisy is really adorable. Though he doesn't have a preference on whichever size he shifts into, Cater enjoys being big enough that he's able to hold you onto his palms and let you nuzzle your nose with his.

This sort of bonding feels special for both of you, although his dorm mates know about his ability, he’s more comfortable in showing it off to you since he trusts and loves you a lot; and the fact you continue to feel the same way makes him want to shower you with more affection that only he can give you.

And you think to yourself, there's nothing in this twisted world you'd ever want more than to be with your sometimes tiny, and sometimes giant significant other.

Dang, took me a while to post this here lol- I hope I'll remember to post more written stuff here cus I've got two crossover aus + twst self aware au ideas I wanna share. Also, I hope I didn't write Cater OOC here </3 He's not exactly my fav but I like him a bit to at least try to write something with him

I forgot to post this yesterday but I bought + customized an Azul loop keychain from a school booth (just for the funsies)

There were a limited amount of beads and charms I can put here (without paying extra for additional beads/charms) so I tried to be creative with my choice ^^ Personally, I think it turned out quite cute, I have it hanging on my bag now :3
